Apply to be a supporter

Celebrate World Zombie Day with us and show your patrons that you’re helping fight brain rot.

Official World Zombie Day Supporters are businesses independently raising funds and awareness for World Zombie Day: London and The Dead Good Club, a not-for-profit supporting AI and digital media literacy while finding ways to stay human in a fast-changing technological world.

Become an Official World Zombie Day Supporter to get the badge and campaign assets to display in your window, on your tables, and social media channels, plus a place on our public supporter directory. Pubs, cafés, shops, cinemas, tattoo studios, record shops, and other businesses are all welcome.

Create your own fundraising page and climb the leaderboard, set up a donation point, organise a staff activity, or share the campaign on social media. We’re flexible about how you get involved and creativity is encouraged!

It’s free to join, and you can take part from wherever you are without being on the official walk route.

What supporters do

Pick whatever suits your space and your day. Most supporters do one or two of these.

  • Display the QR code from your own Zeffy fundraiser.
  • Make a fixed donation.
  • Give a set amount, or a share of the takings, from a themed product.
  • Run a small, approved fundraising activity.
  • Let staff wear family-friendly zombie makeup, themed shirts, or badges.
  • Spread awareness on social media. We'll provide assets you can use out of the box, or create your own.
  • Provide an agreed contribution in kind.

What you get

We provide pre-designed assets so you can start sharing straight away. You’ll need access to a printer, but are free to print in any format such as posters, flyers, window stickers, badges, or other decorations.

  • Official World Zombie Day Supporter badge.
  • A2 and A4 posters / flyers.
  • Window sticker artwork.
  • Social posts, cutouts, and captions.
  • Short brand and usage rules.

Use the approved World Zombie Day: London logo, Zombie Red, typography and fundraising wording as supplied. The supporter badge does not grant unrestricted use of the primary World Zombie Day logo.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your business and your idea.

Share your contact details, what you would like to do, and how you plan to raise money.

  2. We review it.

We check that it is safe, suitable, accessible, and clearly separate from the official walk route.

  3. We confirm your place.

If approved, we will send you the official badge and supporter pack.

  4. Set up and share.

Create your Zeffy fundraiser page and grab your QR code and link.

  5. Tell us how it went.

Let us know what you raised. If you collected money offline, you can add it via your Zeffy page. Photos and a few words about your experience are always welcome.

Special events, pub quizzes, and workshops

Anything substantial needs separate written approval. This includes workshops, pub quizzes, parties, brunches and other organised activities using the World Zombie Day name.

We will not approve activities that ask walkers to visit your premises before the official event, leave the walk midway, or travel to a location away from the route.

We particularly welcome:

  • Warm-up activities in the days leading up to World Zombie Day: London.
  • Sunday post-event brunches or other activities on the day after the walk.
  • Day-of activities for people who cannot attend the walk or after-party, provided they are clearly described that way.

As part of the approval process, we may ask about:

  • Safeguarding and family suitability.
  • Licensing and insurance.
  • Capacity and accessibility.
  • Safety arrangements.
  • Cash handling and donations.
  • The wording and placement of your publicity.

Approval must be received before you publish the activity or invite the public.

Apply

Tell us about your business and what you have in mind. We read everything, and reply by email.

As it should appear on the leaderboard and in any listing.

Who we should reply to.

Where the approval and the pack password will go.

Where the activity happens, with the postcode.

A poster and a QR code, a themed drink, a staff takeover, whatever you have in mind. A sentence or two is plenty.

A fundraising page on Zeffy, a fixed donation, a share of sales from one item, a collection point, or something else.

Instagram, Facebook, wherever you post.

Questions, dates, anything that does not fit above.
