Frequently asked questions

Some commonly asked questions and their answers.

When is it?

Saturday 10 October 2026. World Zombie Day always occurs on the second Saturday of October.

Where will the event take place? How do I get there?

The event details are revealed a few days before the event to everyone who has registered. The locations are typically in central London and easy to reach on the Underground. If you need special arrangements, email megan@worldzombieday.co.uk.

Is this family friendly?

Yes! Bring the whole horde out for the day. Children with spooky dispositions will enjoy this perfect primer to Halloween events. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, this is a dog-friendly event. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join their undead owners.

Will there be stairs or accessibility restrictions?

Every effort is made to choose locations that are accessible, but as we head to several locations on the day there may be obstructions or road blocks that require alternative routes.

Is there a specific dress code?

Your best zombie attire is highly recommended, but not required. Please be mindful that this is a public event. You will be seen by locals and tourists of all ages, and are likely to be photographed or filmed.

Is this a protest?

No. Please do not bring protest signs or use this event for any political agenda or demonstration.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The event is free, with an optional “pay what you can” donation, £5 suggested. Everything beyond running costs goes to the cause we’re fundraising for.
