Photo, video and social media waiver

Filming and photography take place throughout the day and evening event, by participants, press, supporters, and freelance and vocational photographers.

By taking part you acknowledge that you may be filmed or photographed, and you give World Zombie Day: London and The Dead Good Club the right to use, publish, broadcast, adapt, remix, and share your likeness and any footage, photograph, portrait, moving image, or other media featuring you, in whole or in part, for marketing, social media, fundraising, public relations, editorial, and promotional purposes, without further limitation and in perpetuity.

If you are registering anyone under 18, you give that consent on their behalf.

If you photograph or film at the event:

  • You keep ownership of your own work and remain free to use it as you wish.
  • We prioritise the use of content submitted via our Submissions form; https://worldzombieday.co.uk/submit-photos
  • We credit photographers and contributors wherever the format allows and will correct a credit on request.
  • You grant World Zombie Day: London and The Dead Good Club a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, adapt, edit, remix, and share your work (including derivatives and extracts) for the same purposes above, including passing it to press and partners covering the event.
  • This licence also covers any photos, videos, audio, captions, posts, stories, reels, TikToks, or other content you create that mentions, tags, or refers to World Zombie Day, The Dead Good Club, or the event, whether posted during the event or afterwards.

You may contact us at megan@worldzombieday.co.uk to request removal of specific content where legally possible; however, you acknowledge that once material has been shared publicly or with third parties, complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.
